HOODIES!!

brrrr! i LOVE this weather! i haven't quite fully gotten over certain events that took place during this holiday season so enjoying it is another thing. regardless, i'm still glad it's here!

my anxiety has skyrocketed in the last month so i'm back on my medicine. i'm starting to take walks more, listening to Minus The Bear radio station on pandora a lot, and smoking a little bit of medical. this means i got to break out my box of pieces. i only have been using two-

so it looks like you're giving it a high five every time you smoke.

so yeah. that's been nice i guess.

in friend news, i visited my best friend last week and i gained a new minion. it's never easy having to visit her, but i'm happy to say this time around was a lot easier than others. i couldn't stay long because like the idiot i am i didn't bring a coat, but at least i got to see her.

three days later, the husband and i went out to petsmart to look at puppies, sprint to get a new phone, and applebees to eat food that tastes like fucking cardboard. fast forward a bit, this boring story ends in excitement:

got this little guy! he's six months, has webbed paws, a tiny line of white hair above his nose, and one floppy ear when he runs. he's the ugliest breed i've ever had, but he's extremely goofy, and with me, personality is everything. at this point, i don't know what i'd do without resolve and caffeine. holy fuckballs. we haven't settled on a name yet, but i am leaning towards Rocko for some reason. other possible names: daffy, pogo, gizmo, n00b, rocky, fuckface, manson, danzig, ness, or cosmo. what my kitties think about it:

in interwebz news, i ordered a few things and can't wait til we get them in! when we get everything in, i'm gonna redecorate. i don't know if i should do a princess themed room, disney princesses, flowers and pretty things, or nickelodeon characters. i've been mainly working on faux finishes, venetian plaster, and staining at work so this will be something fun and different.

also in teh interwebz land, i had to sign up for a model mayhem profile AGAIN. third time. maybe i should just keep it this time. it's stupid how you can't report imposters or copyright infringement unless you have a profile on their site. this is another reason why i have fakes on bebo, fubar, and a couple dating sites. oh well. can't win em all.

Droppin' Bombs, Like a Boss!

Hey guys, Dex here. What have you wonderful ladies and gentlemen been up to? I hope you all had a wonderful Halloween. I, personally, actually didn't do much this year because I have been swamped with so many other things that I couldn't really enjoy the holiday for what it is. However, I did spend some time with some good close friends at a Halloween get together the day prior to Halloween, and one of my friends came in the most epic costume. It wasn't a requirement to be dressed, but our friend here walked through the front door like a boss. Why tell you about it, when I can just show you?

The Shore Hotel in Santa Monica

What's up ladies and gentlemen, it's Dex here again. I've been completely swamped with school, but I always make the time to show support for my friends. In the video that can be found here, my good friend, Jon, talks about his new hotel property while the video showcases a bit of the ribbon cutting party I attended (See if you guys can spot me) on October 20th. It's a beautiful hotel directly in front of the Santa Monica beach, which provides an epic view of the sunsets. So if any of you are ever in or around Santa Monica, be sure to stay there; it will be worth your while.
